How to add more functionality on my WordPress website using pre-installed widgets? Print

Step 1: Login to the wordpress admin panel.

Step 2: Click on Widgets.

Step 3: Now, the widgets window opens up.

Step 4: All your widgets are listed under Available Widgets.

Step 5: To activate a widget on your website, follow these steps:

Step 6: Click on a widget and a dropdown menu appears which lists the places where you can place the widget on your website.

Step 7: Select one place (Ex. Left Sidebar) from the list by clicking on it.

Step 8: Now, click Add Widget button located under the same list, to add it to your website.
