Steps to update Drupal version via Softaculous Print

Step 1:  Log in to the cPanel.

Step 2: Click on “There are # update(s) available.†under Softaculous Apps Installer.

Step 3: Locate your Drupal website and click the upgrade icon.

Step 4: Tick the checkbox “Create Backup before upgrading†and click “Upgrade†button.

Step 5: The system will then submit the data and do the upgrading process.

Step 6: A pop-up window will show that you need to complete the upgrade process. Click “OK†button.

Step 7: Drupal requires you to update the database. Click “Continue†to proceed. (Please also read the upgrading handbook for more detailed information about the upgrade.)

Step 8: Pending updates may be available, click “Apply pending updates†button.

Step 9: Drupal site version has now been updated. Access your Drupal dashboard it put it back online by turning off the maintenance mode.
