How to configure email account in Outlook 2010 via IMAP

Step 1: Open Outlook 2010 and select File Step 2: Click Add Account. Step 3: Check Manually configure server settings or additional server types Step 4: Manually configure server settings in Outlook 2010 Step 5: Select Internet E-mail Step 6: Fill in the fields on the screen
++++ Account Type: Select IMAP Incoming: mail.domain.com  (or) hostname Outgoing: mail.domain.com   (or) hostname
Select IMAP after the Incoming mail server name. User Name: Enter in the full email address Password: Enter in the password for that specific email address +++ Note: Use your domain name in domain.com field
Step 7: Click More Settings Step 8: Select Outgoing Server and then My outgoing server (SMTP) requires authentication
+++ Select Advanced. For IMAP use 143 - SSL Disabled     ( If SSL enabled Use 993) Outgoing SMTP port - 25 or 587 or 26 ( If SSL enabled use 465) For Root folder path enter INBOX with uppercase letters. +++
Step 9: Click “Next†and then click “Finish†to complete the email account setup.
